So I ended up getting the biopsy results (from Tuesday 4/28) back on Friday. I had a feeling all day Thursday while I was out with my sons for my birthday that I would hear back then. The first spot they biopsied showed "suspicion of malignancy" so I'll be seeing a breast surgeon and hopefully a surgical excision biopsy will follow. The second site was benign. *sigh* It's not the all clear I had hoped for but I'll do what I need to do. I hope my thyroid surgeon (who also is a breast surgeon/ expert) will be able to help me but if she can't, my PC NP (love her) already has another surgeon lined up.

Had biopsies on 2 different areas of my left breast this morning. I had next to no pain during both (just slight sting with the lidocaine injections), the doctor kept asking if I wanted to take a break between them and I assured her I was fine and to just keep going. I'm having a bit of soreness at one site but the ice packs are helping a lot. They told me 5-7 days for results and, frankly, I am ok with that. Our sons have planned a fun day for mine and my husband's birthdays on Saturday so I know if there is not so good news, at least it will be after the weekend. 😊
