Will these stand up to being outside all day? Will they work at all together?

Had one eye that was open and one that was closed (pictured). It looked almost like a hamster to me when it was moving but then I saw its tail. I was thinking possibly the san diego pocketmouse but just wanted to see.

My dad removed the bushes it was hiding under so if anyone has any advice on helping rehome the baby that would be appreciated. It's burrow has no cover right now and our dog will absolutely slaughter it.

I just got it 2 days ago from a dispensary, pretty sure it was grown under lights which is why I think its sunburning?
