Need doctor recommendations in Faridabad / Delhi NCR and help fixing messy medication plans
Hi everyone,
Posting here because things have gotten really confusing with my parents’ treatment and we could really use some help.
- Heart patient (48F): She had an angioplasty with a stent last year at SSB. There were complications right after discharge. She had to be readmitted the same night because her lungs filled with fluid, and they had to operate again.
After that, she was prescribed around 12 to 15 medications. Over time it was reduced to about 10, but still a lot.
We then went to ESIC, where her meds were changed again and brought down to around 8. After that, she had thyroid tumor removal surgery at AIIMS, and during that process her cardiac meds were changed again and new thyroid meds were added.
Current issue: Her medication schedule is completely messed up now. We do not know what should be taken when, what combinations are safe, or which doctor’s prescription to follow anymore.
- Diabetes patient (father): He needs a better doctor for sugar control. Current treatment is not helping much, and he also has frequent pain.
Also, at ESIC, he was prescribed BP meds even though he has no history of BP, which has added to the confusion.
What we need:
- A good cardiologist in Faridabad or Delhi NCR who can review everything and simplify the meds
- A good diabetes specialist (endocrinologist) in Faridabad or Delhi NCR for better sugar management
- Preferably someone who takes a practical approach and avoids unnecessary medications
If anyone has recommendations in Faridabad or anywhere in Delhi NCR, or advice on how to get a clean and unified medication plan, please help.
This has been really stressful to manage and we just want to get things stable again.
