Found a lump in my testicle, ultrasound was clear but still worried
About 2 months ago, while doing a routine testicular self-check, I noticed a small lump on my right testicle. It felt like a firm bump on the surface, around 0.5 cm in size.
I booked a urology appointment right away. They did an ultrasound, and the doctor said nothing abnormal showed up in the testicle itself, but there was some fluid around it , which could make it appear larger.
This appointment was about a month ago. Recently, I’ve started feeling a really really small (~1mm diameter) firm spot on my left testicle as well, and overall both testicles feel a bit firmer during the day compared to before and even a hot shower doesn’t seem to change that.
I have no pain or discomfort and the size of the original lump hasn’t changed.
What would you recommend I do? I have an important exam in about 2 months, so I’d prefer not to spend too much time on hospital visits unless it’s really necessary.
