What are your favorite books that made you laugh and cry and scream and want to throw things at the MCs?

I just finished {The Worst Best Man} by Mia Sosa (shout-out to this sub for the rec, BTW!) The banter was so witty and so funny, I was laughing and crying so many times. Natalia is my favorite ever side character, I think.

But, the problematic MCs were so frustrating and I was so mad at them, but Mia Sosa did such a good job with them!! What a fantastically written story. I honestly loved it so much.

So what are your faves that you reach for that have MCs that make you want to reach out and shake these fictional characters like GIRL/DUDE, GET IT TOGETHER!!

How do I get my dog to be consistent in getting the desired behavior? (Does well with treats then 3 seconds later, it's like nothing ever happened)

Freddy is my 1-2 year old husky rescue. Yes, I'm aware that this is a difficult breed. I'm just the idiot who thought I could handle it. So I'm trying but he's also trying my patience 😵‍💫.

He responds very well to treats. If I ask him to sit, he sits. If I want to redirect his attention to "leave it" on a walk (usually chasing after something small because of his high prey drive), he'll instantly stop what he's doing to take the treat. If he's jumping on my other dog while we're walking, he'll stop for two seconds for a treat. And then he goes right back to repeating the undesired behavior.

I know that you have to slowly wean the treats over time. But my issue is, he seems to "get" what I want, he just doesn't care. Even in training class, when we introduce new behaviors, he understands right away. He simply doesn't care to repeat this same behavior 800 times (for example, we had a small platform that they needed to sit on while we were learning stay. He did it perfectly the first 2-3 times and then either didn't want to do it all or only half-assed the behavior).

He's very food driven and responds to most treats, though hot dogs seem to be his favorite.

I'm one thousand percent sure I'm the problem. So how do I fix me?

Almost a month ago, I planted this bindweed in the ground. It's in a real terrible spot that gets partial shade between two trees and backs up against a brick wall. But when I went to Theodore Payne in Sun Valley (SoCal if you're unfamiliar with the area), the person who was helping me said it should do fine (although she was seriously reluctant to assist me after seeing how terrible [hardscaped and filled with garden soil] my yard is lol).

Is it doing okay? Should I do anything or just leave it alone? This is my first time ever planting a native and I have no idea what to expect.

I live in northwest San Fernando Valley for reference, if it makes any difference.
