Why did I create all these doubles?

I had a party recently. I tried so hard to get folks to upload to my shared immich album: crickets. Gawd people are SO LAZY.

So I caved and shared a Google album. Three folks added pics: yay. I wanted them in my Real album on immich. It wasn't super easy to cherry pick out the added pics only - so I grabbed the entire thing and re-uploaded the pics. Drag and drop from windows right into the album.

Immich caught none of the doubles and left me with 2x all the pics.

Where did I go wrong?

I watched this short and relatively uninformative news piece that said we, the taxpayers, agreed to a higher rate to get some mass transit.

Our memory is short and I'd like to know if anyone remembers, or can find, what exactly were we promised with the raise in taxes?

I'm a huge fan of mass transit and paying for a greater good. I also want guvment accountability and productivity. I expect funds and projects to be spent wisely and projects finished as if they were being ran by professionals.
