✨ She's incoming. ✨ Meet our next guest: Darian Darling! LA-based makeup artist, beauty illustrator, creative consultant, and lifelong Jem fan who has been in this fandom longer than most of us knew where to find each other.

In the late 90s, Darian created JEM Grrrlz!, one of the very first websites dedicated to Jem and the Holograms. She helped build this community before there was even a word for that. And now she's coming to JemCon 2026.

Her work has been featured in Vogue, Interview, The Face, and Grazia. She draws inspiration from glam rock, vintage cosmetics, and pop iconography. Vogue once called her "a modern-day Pierre La Roche." We call her one of ours.
