Best hip hop choreography studios in the South Bay with real community?
Hey everyone, I’m a hip hop dancer in the South Bay (Cupertino / San Jose area) and I’ve been trying to find studios that are more choreography + performance focused, but also have a strong community where people actually become friends over time. I’ve tried a few places where classes are great, but it feels like people mostly just come and leave, and it’s harder to build real connections. Right now I’m looking at a few studios like workshop-based or choreography-focused ones (for example On One Studios / Purdance type environments). For people who dance in the Bay Area: * Which studios actually have a strong community/social scene (not just drop-in classes)? * Where do dancers tend to form real friendships or crews? * Are there any hidden gems for hip hop choreography + performance opportunities? Would really appreciate honest experiences rather than marketing vibes. Thanks!
