Hi everyone, it's been a very long night and day. Sesame was doing awesome when he got home, but had drastically declined throughout the night. With the emergency vet visit last night and a whole day of hospitalization, it turns out Sesame had a very unusual outcome by having a stroke and could no longer be saved.

Sesame was very special to me. At the time I brought him home, I was living with and taking care of my Grandpa. Sesame was a great companion for both of us during COVID and kept us busy. Just last September, my Grandpa passed away.

Sesame was the last piece of Grandpa I had left, so this is incredibly tough for me, but I am certain that I tried everything I could to help him and give him the best life he deserved. A big piece of my heart is missing, and as painful as it is, I know it's with Sesame It's such a privilege to experience this grief in exchange of such a joyous 6 years this little guy brought me.

Thank you again everyone for supporting Sesame and I on his tripod journey, although it was cut short way too soon. ♥️

Sesame's surgery went very well! The only thing that happened was that his temperature dropped a little bit, but it was soon brought back up :) there's a lot of meds to be taken care for the next little while and post operative checks, we sure will be busy :)

Thank you everyone for your love and support, here's to a smooth recovery and a new adventure for both Sesame and I!

I will continue to post updates on him and his new tripod lifestyle! ♥️
