After a stellar education in private school and a small liberal arts college, my parents failed me by not preparing me for actual real work/life and I feel like a failure after a life of always winning a trophy in everything I did.

My parents pay my rent in New York City because I can't find a full-time job after college. I feel like I failed.

W96 or w50?

Hello! Im looking to move into NYC with my wife and we are coming from the suburbs/rural life. We are looking into Columbus Square on 96th and a little lower near 8th ave west 50th. I wanted to know if this would be safe for my wife. She will be commuting to the bronx with the B train nearby.

I heard that 96+ starts getting a little sketchy and I am a bit nervous if she has to commute alone since she has never lived in a city before.

We are also looking at buildings a little lower, around 8th ave and 50th street. Is anyone of these safer?
