hey so I just wanted to complain a sec, basically someone I know long distance had their iPhone on the security lockout screen after too many failed attempts and took it to a repair shop for just general help and advice.

But I’m honestly pissed at the way the shop handled it, all they did was remove the security screen charge £20 and say that it’s all fine after making my friend wait a whole day to comeback and pick it up.

When was they only really asked with help either unlocking it or if they couldn’t then to just reset it as they wasn’t sure how.

- maybe I’m just a cheap ass but no way does it need a £20 charge for a 15-20 minute job. But should I myself just try and guide them through the process instead of risking the another £20? 😭
