Got my pf amount transferred from ex org to new org after months of fight with EPFO, now onto my next challenge to shut off eps.
Basically my prev org deducted EPS since I joined mid month and they assumed that my base/salary is less than 15000 and hence I am eligible for eps.
THEY CONTINUED DEDUCTING EPS FOR 4.3years.
So when I switched company and wanted to shift my of amount to new of acct, my claims were rejected saying
That I am not eligible for EPS member coz salary is more than 15k and doj is after 2014.
Had to do a lot of back and forth, grievances, rejections, letters from prev employer signed by me stating that I would not claim eps and all that tussle for close to a year.
But the eps amount is lost, I don't see that amount being transferred, how can I get that amount?
Also, the new company that I switched to continues deducting EPS, which I want to stop coz I do not want to do the same dance after my next switch.
Can you help me with the apt procedure to stop this?
Tldr: I am not eligible for EPS but it is getting deducted in my current org coz it was getting deducted in my prev org(which they did by mistake and explained it in a signed letter, uploading which allowed me to transfer my of amount across pf account)
