My 14.5 update with the Athlon 3-18. This taste must be acquired because I haven’t acquired it
I am putting a scope on my 6arc 14.5” and the 3-18x50 seems like a stand out choice for a budget scope comparable to razor 3-18. But at ~30oz and ~14” I think it may be too much?
I want to build it as an spr I can compete with and take shots to the maximum range of the rifle but still want to be maneuverable in terms of the advantages of 14.5”
If you have this Athlon on your 6arc please share your experience.
Thank you
Edit: I’ve done my best confirmation bias on the comments and pulling trig on the Athlon
Criterion 14.5” pin and weld to 16” with the comstock armory muzzle break and 5/8 spacer.
Bought from adm, they only would give me a carbine gas so we’ll see how it runs. Slr gas block, bcm upper, Wilson lower, bcm a5 length h2 buffer, I have Athlon 3-18x50 on the way. I have never got Athlon glass before so I’m excited. Cerakoted in h-232 Magpul odg locally.
It’s my first small frame ar so let me know what you think!
Looking for a scope mount with a direct top dot compatibility for $150. I saw a forum from 2 years ago about people recommending adm because they were “$150” but a google search shows that they changed? Idk why I can’t find any that are in that range it’s either cheap monstrums that I am not about to buy or approaching $400 for a cantilever mount which I think is ubsurd.
Please if you have any suggestions leave them in the comments, thanks.
