Hi everyone, my child was recently accepted into UCI for the Computer Science major. We live in Los Angeles, so the commute is pretty far. Because of that, we’re considering having them live on campus for about three days a week and then come home to LA on the other days to work.

Does UCI allow this kind of arrangement for incoming freshmen? I’d really appreciate any insight from parents or students who’ve done something similar.
