Need advice on two story great room overhang

First photo is a Pinterest photo example to help visualize. Second photo is from our actual plans.

We’re building a house, broke ground last week. We plan to have a two story great room with an upstairs hallway which ends up being a bit of an overhang into the living room. Didn’t think much of this initially but now second guessing if the asymmetry of this is a bad look. We didn’t want sound to travel upstairs so planned to do a full height wall instead of a balcony railing as shown. Not much we can do to adjust this without changing house plans drastically.

Would you do a railing instead of full height wall so asymmetry isn’t as apparent?

Would you keep plans and full height wall as is, and it’s not that bad?

Should I scrap all the plans and start over to fix this because it’s horrible?

Thank you in advance.
