I can’t tell if this is accidental self-snark or peak lack of self-awareness. Coming from the woman who threw a full-scale wedding-sized engagement party last fall, the “no over-the-top production, just pure love” commentary is old money levels of* *rich. And tagging your friend to praise her “simple” wedding while indirectly shading every bigger celebration (including her own??) is a…choice. The irony is so lost on her it’s almost a shame.
