[Slater] Draymond Green predicts Steve Kerr won't be back next season

> Draymond Green predicted Steve Kerr's tenure with the Golden State Warriors could be at its end three days after the longtime coach acknowledged this might have been his last season with the team.

> "I hope he's our coach next season," Green said on his podcast, "The Draymond Green Show." "You want my opinion? I think not. Just because it feels like that. It felt like that was it."

> After the Warriors were eliminated late Friday night in Phoenix, Kerr brought Green and star guard Stephen Curry together for a moment on the sideline to conclude their 12th season together. [Windhorst] Nike's stock has been obliterated over the last 24 months. [Swiss investment bank] UBS analyst says part of the reason Nike is selling fewer basketball shoes is that basketball players aren’t as popular as they used to be.

Additional context: Nike's stock hit a 12 year low earlier this month. An analyst for the Swiss investment bank UBS released a report citing the company's issues, one of which was the decline in interest in basketball.

Lisa Scherzer at Front Office Sports had this quote from the report

"Nike’s areas of historical strength, mainly basketball, are less relevant today"... "we don’t think consumers are as focused on professional basketball as much as they used to be"

[Beck] The NBA retroactively assessed LaMelo Ball a flagrant foul-2. I checked with the NBA, and flagrant foul points assessed during the play-in round do NOT count against a player’s flagrant foul points limit in the playoffs. Like play-in stats, the flagrant points simply disappear into thin air.

During the NBA playoffs, suspensions of one or two games are meted out for every penalty point a player accrues above a total of three. A flagrant foul 2 would have counted as 2 points towards this threshold, but Ball's points will again reset when the playoffs begin if the Hornets make it by winning the next play-in game.
