Unconventional treatment for depression/anxiety with histamine intolerance?

Hi, im getting to the end of my rope here. I cannot take any SSRI/SNRI or stimulant meds. Tried Nortripyline but it made my dissociation way worse. Scared to try amitriptyline because of that. I am in a very low, very dark place. Antihistamines make me more depressed. Anyone have any suggestions for "unconventional" treatments? I am looking into LDN (low dose naltrexone) for example. But things like a mood stabilizer etc, not making histamine intolerance worse? Thanks

Can this help stabilize histamine responses? And help with depression?

Hi, I am desperately searching for something to help with depression/anxiety/inflammation. Long story, but I went through protracted withdrawls of SSRI and have never been the same, and ironically can no longer tolerate that SSRI or any antidepressants. largely due to histamine intolerance I developed from protracted withdrawls. I recently retried citalopram and it gave me bad histamine intolerance symptoms l. also have POTS symptoms (not diagnosed) fatigue, crying spells etc. I used to be a pretty successful athlete and can barely workout these days. I get home from work and cry. I am in physical pain everyday (I was never in this pain when I was lifting heavy weights 4x a week and competing). i also developed weird blood sugar issues where I go hypoglycemic after eating carbs. too much insulin/insulin resistance. never had this before. I tried metformin, but it raised histamine levels a lot for me. lots of swelling and joint pain from it.

I have read some anecdotes about LDN helping with mast cell/histamine issues. if anyone can lend some thoughts, it would be appreciated. getting to the end of the rope here and trying to think outside the box of antidepressants they keep throwing at me
