I have used multiple Sony body’s. A7iii, a7iv,a7riv and a7rv. I am most pleased with at the a7s3 that I recently bought from Best Buy for $1800 open box. Shutter count 70, no blemishes on the camera.
This model has had the best editing power in my opinion. Can recovery highlights and shadows easily. Grain is perfect in my opinion.
For a 6 year of camera is amazing.
Not my work or my grade, but the photography circle jerk sub has declared this as an awful excessive piss filter that looks far worse than the original.
I think it’s a perfectly acceptable grade, if not a little heavy handed on the warm side. Curious about thoughts from an actual colorist subreddit rather than photography as I’m getting downvoted into oblivion trying to defend it lol

For almost 5 years, I shot with a Blackmagic 6K and 6K pro. Loved it to death. But its weight, lack of auto focus and stabilization was starting to wear me down. Some shots needed many peripherals to accomplish. So I switched it.
I have been amazed by the dynamic range capabilities of this camera. This shot was around 16:30, so the sun was starting to set behind the scene. Even though the sun was backlighting everything, I still could match his lighting and the sky to same levels. Bear in mind, I used no other light source.
Used Davinci to grade it.
I am honored to share my three finalist images for the Hasselblad Masters 2026.
To me the Montreal Metro is a theater of solitude, of waiting, and of a unique atmosphere created by the interplay of natural and artificial light. Within this setting, I strive to capture the truth of the moment and the quiet poetry of everyday life.
A heartfelt thank you to hasselblad for welcoming me as a finalist this year. It is a true privilege to have this candid work recognized by an institution that holds the photographer's eye and artistic integrity in such high regard.
Seems like they don't have enough money to design a box these days as well.
This is a personal one from the archive….
My daughter used to play dressup as an Indian when she was a kid.
I had an old photo of her playing Pocahontas that I wanted to use in a tattoo.
The reason is I only tattoo important moments in my life like a collection of memories. They are both in meaning and literally close to me.
So it would make sense to have a portrait of her. Unfortunately that photo got lost.
So I asked her (at that time she was already 10) to redo that photo more or less. It took some convincing as 10 is the age she started a rebellion phase but it worked out (I bribed her with Sushi🤣)
So I asked my team to help me and we ended up shooting these photos of which I tattooed one on my shoulder.
To others its just a random Indian girl tattoo but to me it has a deep personal meaning. Both the story I shared with you and the memories of a fun day making the photos.

I’ve heard that the g7x mark iii is not worth it if you have the 17 pro but I don’t know how to replicate it especially the flash effect? Is there like a nice continuous flash people would recommend for it? This is an example of a glowy daytime picture taken with the g7x mark iii
