i will be hiking the short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu next month and want to be fully prepared so i'm looking for some patagonia gear recommendations. i got some nice pants and a jacket already so just looking for a base layer shirt in case i take the jacket off. since i'll be at super high elevation, do i need sun protection and should get something like the Capilene Cool Sun Hood? or do i need merino wool and should get something like Long-Sleeved Capilene Cool Merino Blend Shirt? thanks in advance!
