>On Monday, April 6, TILT opens submissions for Philly Photo Day: How We Stay Free, a special week-long event transforming Philadelphia into a site of creative inspiration. The annual event returns with a new theme inspired by the nation’s Semiquincentennial, inviting tourists or residents with a camera or smartphone to capture images of Philadelphia that respond to the prompt, “How do we stay free?” Participants must submit their photos online by April 12 for inclusion in the Philly Photo Day exhibition, which will be displayed for free to the public in TILT’s Project Gallery, located in The Crane Arts Building, from May 13 to June 27, including during InVISION on April 30.

Stop the Scam: A Community Conversation on Online Fraud, AI, and Accountability · Alliance for Retired Americans

From the Organizers:

April 7, Tuesday

Workers United Union Hall

22 S 22nd St 2nd floor Philadelphia, PA 19103

About this event

Older adults are being targeted by scams that use social media and artificial intelligence to deceive, impersonate, and steal. The harm is widespread, but the voices of those most affected are often missing.

Join other older adults, union members, elected officials, and other public leaders for an open, solutions-focused conversation. Lunch will be served.

This town hall is part of the national Stop the Scam campaign to educate the public about digital scams, collect real-life fraud stories, and advance policies that better protect older adults in the digital age. Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner and Pennsylvania House Representative Brian Munroe will speak at the event.
