Story about Eddie Van Halen I hadn’t heard before

Addiction specialist speaks about the time Eddie came up to him at the airport about getting treated.

Apparently Eddie came in with that “you should know who I am” energy, and the specialist basically shut it down, told him if he wasn’t serious, he could get back on the plane and leave.

Supposedly later on Eddie credited being treated like a regular person and not a celebrity, as a turning point. Thoughts?

Interesting take on Why Carlin's later albums got darker - YouTube

Big GC fan but I always thought his later stuff was a bit too dark, but this podcast has a hypnosis expert on (weird, I know) who had a take on Carlin's later stuff that actually makes sense: he was just finding new ways to rebel.

Do you think he's right? Or was it just shock humor? Idk what do you think?
