Now don't get me wrong, the piece looks terrific and the anime is awesome, but the asking price? Dang! I thought Eren would look good opposite my PCS Pumpkinhead, but I guess I'll only have one naked man creature in my room. Gutted!
With the effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz I've seen an increase of approx. $250 in Prime 1's international shipping on the statue I want. There is no economy shipping available to the UK from Prime 1, so we only have Standard Shipping, which now stands at $1456 for my desired piece.
What are the chances P1 shipping will increase before/on release, now scheduled for Aug-Oct 2026? I ask because ordering direct means I can challenge the 20% import VAT and likely pay 5% due to the very limited edition run, whereas ordering from the UK supplier basically means I'm paying the Prime1 total (statue and shipping) + 20% - it's a difference of approx £360 (, unless shipping increases), hence wondering what your projections are for Prime 1 shipping fees this year.
