what’s your ride or die base routine?

be sure to mention your skin type ;)

skin care routine welcome, if you’d like to include it.

I’m still figuring out mine! My skin type is oily with large pores.

lately, I’m doing:

Cleanser
CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser

Moisturizer
CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion

Powder
Maybelline Fit Me Matte 120 Pressed Powder

Setting Spray
Skindinavia Bridal (let fully dry)

Foundation
I ran out and am deciding! Need help. Thinking Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Blurring Balm in 3 again, it’s what I’ve used for years. My main gripe is it can cling to texture around my nose creases, T-zone, and chin crease (CeraVe Salicylic Acid Smoothing Cleanser at night has helped with this significantly).

Final Setting Spray
Skindinavia Bridal again

what’s your favorite sports bra?

I only wear sports bras. I’m looking for something feminine. I need something that will cover my nipples showing through. I’m not interested in a cross cross back, more so interested in a lacey option if that exists. Best I can find is Superchill Bralette from Aerie.

Any other suggestions?

Thank you!

best foundation for textured/oily skin?

I have used Dannesa Myricks Skin Tint in shade 3 as a foundation for years. Prior to that I used Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation. I haven’t tried the reformulated version of Double Wear.

My skin type is oily with large pores. After a couple years of sticking with a foundation, my skin seems to almost reject it and I need to switch to something else.

I’m not looking for skin care advice at this time.

If you have my skin type, what’s your current favorite foundation?

Thank you!

Under $200 because I guess that’s the norm for clothing now. I’m only 30 but quality in clothes have gotten so bad yet so expensive. I’m also a size 12/14/XL so brands that have my size would be ideal. Thank you!

I tried the AZEO (All Zero Except One) method for a couple months and that didn’t seem to help. I think it may have made my score go down.

I used to have great credit, around 750. Then I voluntarily repoed my car and have been repairing my credit since then. That was a year and a half ago. I’m currently at 703.

I’ve looked around and I’m not understanding. I have three credit cards. I used to pay them off immediately so that $0 reported on the statement.

Is that my best option for building credit?

I have thought about this a while but I’ll try to be concise. Over the past year, I’ve gained weight and am a size 12ish/XL. You know how women’s sizing is, horribly inconsistent. Anyways I’ve never been this size before. Something about hitting this size has made clothes a nightmare to find. My style is French and alternative leaning in a coffee shop girl from the 90s who likes indie music kinda way. Currently, I like maxi dresses. Open to midi dresses. I need tops. I don’t know where to start with tops. Modern clothing quality is a nightmare, so cheap. I bought a $100 fast fashion dress out of desperation for clothes. I scour the thrift stores, don’t recommend thrift stores dude I’ve spent all my free time there and walk away with nothing lately. I’ve created Google Docs narrowing down potential brands to look into from friends and Reddit. Nordstrom Rack is meh. I got one decent dress that feels like rain jacket material from there, it’s so odd, but I needed clothes. Gap is meh, got one basic shirt from them. Quince is overrated. I’ve looked through entire catalogs of many of the conventional brands and many obscure ones too, only to find one okay item of clothing that is just getting me by. The joy of clothes shopping is waning. Oh, btw I make $18/hr so I don’t have a huge budget. I can’t be the only person losing their mind about fast fashion dresses costing $100 in 2026. Help?

Books about the female experience, written by women, and about working class perspectives preferably or at least not entirely from the perspective of the wealthy. I don’t want a memoir. I want to get lost in fiction. I like a little surrealism as well.
