I hve 28 inch 7mm shilen select match blank waiting to be chambered to 7prc. I have been thinking of a sako trg profile for barrel or straight cone. it will have 18x1 thread and end diameter of 22mm.

I will use it mainly hunting (not very long walking distances) and for range (800-1000yards) and twice a year for competition where first round hits at unknown distances gives the most points.

planning to run 180gr scenar or berger.

what profiles do folks here use? oh, and the barrel will be 28inch long.

I don't need a magnum yes. and I already have 6br and 308.
