Living within a few blocks of lake street Aldi?

I promise I searched this sub for hours looking for answers!

I’m wondering if anyone has experience living a few blocks from the lake street Aldi. Right now we live down by Longfellow park and are considering a move to 29th Avenue S just north of lake street. I shop at that Aldi and visit restaurants on lake street, so I’m familiar with it. But I am wondering if anyone has actually lived right there and is willing to share a bit about your experience. We don’t have kids, but we do have two dogs and walk a lot. Curious what it’s like at night up there and whether or not proximity to that shopping center makes a notable difference in the neighborhood right next door.

Thanks in advance!

Ok I’ve posted here too many times… I’m just so terrified of surgery. I’m scheduled for Friday 5/8. I think I may have had some form of gallbladder attacks since high school (I’m now 29F). But it was intermittent and I thought it was just really bad acid reflux and GERD.

This February I had several weeks of awful attacks eventually ending up in the ER. Diagnosed with stones and biliar colic. CT shows small stones in about 25-50% of my gallbladder, no thickening of gallbladder walls or ducts. The attacks I was having in February and March were awful. Like 10/10 pain. They weren’t always right after a fatty meal. Usually after a high fat meal I’d start to develop a dull ache and if I ate more fat the next day it would go into a full blown attack. I switched to a low fat diet of less than 5g of fat per day and things got better.

Then 3 weeks ago I decided to try reintroducing fats to see how I feel. I was hoping I’d feel bad and have attacks to help get my scared butt to surgery on the 8th. But nothing… I’ve had a few small twinges of pain and I can feel my gallbladder spasm if I eat higher fat. But I’ve had ice cream, peanut butter, some butter, and avocado without ending up in excruciating pain. Haven’t tried anything like pizza, salmon, of fried food tho.

Is this normal? Can stones just move to a different part of the gallbladder and stop causing painful attacks? Did anyone else have a similar experience and still go through with surgery? It feels so strange to my brain to go do the surgery when I’ve been feeling ok and have been able to tolerate some fats.

SOS! And thanks in advance for any advice or similar stories 🙏
