Not sure if its ever mentioned, but the song fengxian is singing in the nekokurage version is an actual chinese lullaby called “摇到外婆桥” literally translated to [shake to grandmother’s bridge]. The cadence to the song is very similar to the final one sung in the anime! Though its not the same song ^^

in the manga, lots of words from the song are missing or just straight up wrong. it’s probably because she is sick and incredibly disoriented so shes mumbling the words, or maybe the manga artist got it wrong idk 🤷‍♀️
