Not sure whether to keep (or transfer ownership) of my T-Mo Magenta First Responder with the $25/mo HSI (grandfathered), it's a pretty good grandfathered plan vs the newer ones because tax is included but I wonder if the newer plans would be worth it in the long run with phone promos...
Some other perks are that per line it's quite reasonable considering you still get international data, taxes and fees are included, free in-flight wifi, netflix included, etc. The newer plans would allow phone promos which seems tempting. Another option is transfer of ownership in case anyone is interested in the plan as opposed to canceling it and then no one gets it. The fact that I have $25/mo HSI grandfathered as well is pretty good, but I might want some new phones soon so that's why I'm wondering if it's worth it for me to switch to the newer plans (maybe like an essentials plan for example)
