i’m a hostess at a small local restaurant so we get a lot of old people who come in, particularly old men. a lot of the times when i’m bussing tables i’ll have old men walk past me and touch my back and stuff, or they’ll come up to me and ask me questions like where’s the bathroom or can i get a refill, and call me sweetheart or honey. i understand they’re trying to be respectful but it’s really weird and makes me really uncomfortable. if they were younger maybe it’d be a tiny less weird but i think because they’re all old and wrinkly it makes me more uncomfortable.
