How can I protect a painted particle board table outside ? (Not expecting it to last long)
I have an old kitchen table & benches that still have a lot of life. Particle board tops with metal legs. My plan was to let my kids paint it up & then use it as an outside table in their play area since they don’t have a seating area over there. I am not expecting even with some protection for it to last many years but hoping for 1-2 years maybe if I can figure out the best cover for it. It’ll also go under a gazebo area but it’s not a huge cover so it’ll definitely still get wet in rain and snow. I initially was going to do epoxy but I’ve had other epoxy projects get sticky in the sun so I’m not sure that’ll be a good idea.
My go to top coat for almost everything has been Varathane water based clear polyurethane. I’ve used it with success for outdoor projects as well, but only on metal & real wood.
The mystery of who had a blast with the tissue box persists.
Last summer my kids & I randomly stopped at a walking trail. We were in the area and just looked around on maps for water near by and ended up here. It was either Westminster or Arvada but can’t be certain which. It was hidden in a neighborhood and right behind an elementary school. Any ideas?
Last summer my kids and I randomly stopped at a walking trail. I THINK it was Arvada but may have been Westminster. There was bike jumps and it was all behind an elementary school & surrounded by a neighborhood that’s all I remember. I’ve been searching maps all week to go again soon but I cannot find it!
