So about a month ago I posted in this sub asking for recommendations as to how should I replace my battery (Original post). It ain't available yet and the battery is now straight up leaking juice. Like I can literally not use it for a few minutes without losing a couple of percentage. And just when I was about to post I read another user (their post) talk about Apple may be low on iPhone SE batteries.

Now I have enquired locally with shops specialized with Apple repairs and phones, they have all offered me two options:

1. After market battery "original" - INR 1500 - 2000 (16 - 21 USD)
2. "Original" Apple battery for iPhone SE - INR 3500 - 4500 (37 - 48 USD) (They also claim that original replacements show the replacement as genuine with a battery health 100%)

Now, my concern is:

1. How am I supposed to tell if the battery replaced is actually original Apple battery and not an aftermarket.
2. What if I after replacing with an original battery there's still a not genuine message with no battery health indicator?
3. Will the IP rating and seal of the device be on par with a replacement done at the Apple store?

Should I go local or wait?
