Looking for a Writing Buddy!
Hello, everyone. 👋 I've been on the search for a long-term writing partner/buddy, and so I hope I can at least find one person here who I can mesh with and develop a productive writing friendship with! If you do reach out, I'll do my best to read through your message. I'm 27F from the U.S. and a fantasy writer (think Martin, Hobb, Wurst, inspired by historical fiction authors like Penman and Mantel).
Genre/s: Fantasy, high or epic. Nothing inspired by anime. Sorry, just not my thing.
Goals/expectations/commitment: I'm currently writing the first draft of my novel, so I'm hoping we can have one-on-one messaging to keep track of our goal (finish a draft, complete an outline, etc.). Also, long-term. I'm actually looking for serious writers, who are either planning to publish traditionally or self-publish, and actually make a career out of this.
Writing/experience level: I'd say advanced, since I'm graduating with a degree in creative writing, and I read a lot about writing (craft books, literature analysis, etc.). I don't mind being a soundboard and, ideally, you'll help me with my writing ramblings, so not much hand-holding here, lol. Not looking to be a teacher for others.
