Line 6 M5 power question

Bought a used m5 a while ago and after rehearsal today the included power supply died on me :/ done a bit of googling to figure out if I can just use my pedal board power supply (t Rex fuel tank classic) to power it. Line 6’s website tells me it takes 9V 500mA power so it technically should be fine? However the ai overview (which I am ofc naturally skeptical towards) tells me I should plug it into the 12V AC output (which doesn’t make sense to me but I don’t know a whole lot about power supplies). Does anyone know what’s possible here?

Been using this board for about ten years now, switched some pedals in and out but the Polytune, Riot, Tube Screamer and the Flashback have been present for the entire time. The Freeze is the most recent addition and I’ve just thrown the q-tron on the side after digging it out of the back of my closet and finding out I don’t hate it as much as I thought I did

Kinda messy and some of the pedals could most certainly use a bit of dusting lol
