Bundle logistics?

First time shopping on ThredUp. Created a bundle and it closed on the morning of May 9th. When I was creating the bundle, it said the estimated arrival date is May 13th. It is currently May 11th. Can I assume that that isn't happening? Since it says my bundle is still pending, am I at risk of cancellation of the order?

Additionally, how would returns work if I wanted to get the partial ThredUp credit return? Definitely worried about the shoes I ordered not being the right size or being super worn because they gave very minimal info on it so I am anticipating I would need to return something and don't want to go through the hassle of a paying for the expensive return label. Also took a risk on some things that I was pretty sure I already had but they had crazy measurements for it. Is the Thredup credit just through customer chat? What should I be asking/saying to them? Is the con just that it expires quickly in like 14 days or something? Hopefully most fit because I was unadventurous and mostly stuck to stuff I already know.

Thank you?

League attendance/policy questions? Is anyone doing once a week drop ins? Alternatively, how does being in multiple leagues work?

If you are part of a league and you pay monthly dues and you decide you want to attend less practices (such as if the league skates Monday Wednesday and you can only do Wednesday), how would that work? Do you stay paying full monthly dues but only attending half of the practices? Do you ask the treasurer if you can pay half of the monthly dues? Do you switch to drop in status and get kicked out of league group chats and aren't technically a part of the league anymore? How do people count as part of a league? I know some people who are always traveling but still have a league to list as their home league.

Alternatively, how do people balance multiple leagues? Is there a more relaxed attendance policy such as long as you are doing 2 practices a week, you qualify? If the attendance policy is more relaxed, wouldn't it cause other skaters who want to roster to feel bitter? Or do most people who are in multiple leagues attend 4+ practices a week. (I am assuming most leagues do 2-3 practices a week.)

What is the attendance policy for bouts for your leagues?

Thank you! (I know that is a lot of questions so just answer whatever you feel like!)

does anyone have any thoughts on riptide cushions? Whats the difference between APS and Krank? where do you usually buy these cushions from? are the numbers off from other brands? Are they really that much better?

I usually stick to 78-80A depending on the brand but according to the chart from derby warehouse, skaters between 100-200 lbs should try 75A Green APS for more lean (too bad that hardness is out of stock on derbywarehouse with no restock date in sight).

For context, I am helping my similar sized friend set up some rival plates and we put on Powerdyne magic cushions in orange barrels (near plate) of medium hardness of 82A and sure grip cones in blue 72A. (She rolls roll line medium blue hardness. They don't provide numbers for the hardnesses). This was just what we had on hand. Is this example of mixing and matching okay? (And how many threds are we allowed to crank down before its too much)

It will be a on flat skate (riedell blue streaks) for indoor skating / derby.

Should I get the riptide ones instead?

Should I go for the normal setup I usually use for Sure Grip yellows 79As for misc skates?

How did you figure out your cushion hardness preference?

Thanks!

Edit: Posting some reference numbers since people are posting their cushions experiences:

  • Powerdyne 78A red soft, 82A orange medium, 85A yellow firm
  • Sure Grip 72A blue, 79A yellow, 85 purple, 83A red
  • Pilot falcon: Blue (Soft - 80A), Red (Medium - 85A), and Yellow (Hard - 90A)
  • Roll Line doesn’t have numbers. I just know that blue is medium hardness

Any way I can make this a viable option?

It’s semi formal and at the park in the morning (reserved park outdoor venue so they aren’t just randomly showing up and hoping for the best) in August on a nice fall day in California and the bride and groom and chill and said to wear what makes you comfortable. (They’ll literally have boba after!) I’m not close to them and I’m a plus 1 of one of their friends. I feel like the sequins on this are too prom but I did really like this dress and I don’t have any other dresses cuz I’m not a dress girly So I wanted pants but putting together a pants outfit for a female body seems insanely hard and I don’t want to stand out too much since I’m a guest.

Edit: is this dress appropriate for any wedding and want dress code would that be?

Edit: I would love to wear whatever the guys are wearing (is the just a white button up, tie and dress pants and shoes?) but that’s hard to find as short girly and I know that fit is king for this if I don’t want to look terrible. My brother advised against due to not wanting me to stand out too much as a guest. Also I am worried about looking way too short in pictures if all the other girls are wearing heels.

I do have Uniqlo button ups and black tapered pants (they look nice but aren’t the quality dress pants fabric) but my sister says that looks too business casual instead.

Just want to look good and not be too uncomfortable with the outfit or presentation.
