hello experts.

my ipad air 4 was handed in for repair for a usb issue.

the repair place notified me that a small damage to the corner might cause an issue in 5% of cases.

after the repair, the iPad now had a vertical damage from top to bottom, but not the corner.

the shop informed me that is is due to the screen already being weakened from the corner issue, and I would have to pay for the screen aswell.

what do you guys think, is this real or them trying to get out of having destroyed it?
