From what I can tell based on reddit research, it seems like 187 is the best for caviar, medium/large CF in silver or light gold hardware; whereas for lambskin, gold hardware, and sizes small/mini, you want to go with GF.

So I was placing an order with Heidi for a 187 caviar medium CF and I brought up this question. I think Heidi got offended and said that god factory is really not good at all.

I understand where she is coming from since she is a dealer for 187, but I also wanted to see if anyone has had recent experiences with god factory lambskin chanel pieces? Are they better than 187? Or is it simply an urban myth that has been echoed?
