Is it just me or is there way more Muslim content on social media lately?

Like the title says. As a former muslim, I haven’t searched for anything Islam related on X, Instagram or Reddit in a long time. Yet my feeds still keep showing muslim influencers and posts about Islam even when i try to get the algorithm to recommend less of it.

It got me curious, does this happen to everyone including people who were never muslim, or did my algorithm somehow get stuck on that content? Or is there a genuine increase of this content?

In case you haven't heard, Google just released Multi Token Prediction drafters for Gemma 4, a speculative decoding approach that pairs the main model with a lightweight drafter. It can predict several tokens ahead and then verify them in parallel, speeding up inference 2-3x faster.

Has anyone used this with MLX? I tried to without success. It does not seem to be supported yet.

Try out this search engine cli for your private docs, codebases, and knowledge on your local machine for your agent (claude code, codex, etc) to use. Free and open source.

Reduce context bloat by offloading cc's work to qi. Index once and claude code can query like “how does X work in Y directory?” to get grounded, cited answers.

Easy install + Skill included
Ultra-fast indexing
Lower tokens
Better reasoning (agents focus on thinking, not retrieval)
Fully local
Works with Ollama, LM Studio, Claude, OpenAI, etc

Think local RAG layer that just works. Try it out and let me know what you think.

I found a CLI called prctl that makes Github PR workflows way less annoying and far more productive. It wraps gh + git to handle the mechanical stuff, review comments, diff line validation, replies, stacked PRs, queueing, and safer merges, so humans or agents can focus on actual judgment instead of busywork.

It outputs clean json, works well for automation, and is especially useful if you deal with stacked PRs or agent-driven review flows. Repo: github.com/xlyk/prctl

I like Comet. It’s a solid product, and I switched from Chrome about four months ago. The cost is starting to add up, though, and I’m running into usage limits. I already pay for Claude and ChatGPT, which I rely on heavily as a software engineer. With Perplexity putting gpt-5.5 behind their max plan, this trend seems likely to continue.

I’m considering going back to Chrome, especially now that it offers browser automation, or possibly switching to an open-source alternative. Is anyone else dealing with this?

For those running LLMs with Exos, how useful is it in a Mac mini cluster setup? Is it actually worth it for handling larger models in real-world tasks? How are the generation speeds and output quality?

Or would you go with a Mac Studio with max RAM instead? I’m thinking of buying a second Mac Mini (in addition to my 24gb ram Mini) to run bigger, more capable models.

Whenever you hit a major milestone, like graduating, getting a new job, or accomplishing something you worked hard for, friends or family say things like, “It’s because I prayed for you,” “I made dua for you,” or “Allah made it happen.”

It can seem harmless on the surface, and some people probably mean well. But it honestly feels dismissive, as if your effort, discipline, and sacrifices get minimized. Instead of just being happy for you, they redirect the credit toward religion. I’ve had people act as if I owe them something for making dua for me which is infuriating.

I’m curious if this is specifically a Muslim thing or an Arab culture thing in general.

Do Israelis generally feel wary of Egypt, or do they view Egypt as a friendly neighbor? Is Egypt seen more as a partner, a rival, or a potential threat? How do you see your future with them?

I ask because this seems like the least discussed relationship Israel has with its neighbors.
