Anyone still getting real results from Facebook for restaurants?

I help run marketing for a neighborhood restaurant and lately I’ve been trying to figure out what platforms are actually worth putting time into. We’ve got a pretty solid local crowd, rotating specials, cocktails, live music some weekends, that kind of vibe. Instagram is fine, but Facebook still seems to be where a lot of our actual customers spend time.

I’ve mostly been using it for event posts, food photos, and updates, but I feel like we’re underusing it. I keep seeing mixed advice on whether Facebook still matters for restaurants or if it’s mostly dead unless you run ads.

For anyone still active on there, what’s actually working for you? Community groups, events, reels, boosted posts, something else? And are there any newer platforms you think restaurants should pay more attention to right now?

If you only had a few hours a week for SEO, what would you actually focus on?

I just realized that I spend so much time on fixing our website's SEO but not seeing much result, which rarely happens to me at all. Been doing a lot of things like fixing random technical issues, updating data from pages, even writing new content.

But rn I really wanna focus and spend less time with it. How would you guys minimize or even if you have few hours a week for SEO, what would you focus on?

I’ve been getting more into press-ons lately, especially the nicer sets with designs and little details, and I don’t want to ruin them after one wear.

The first time I used a really strong glue, they stayed on great but removal was a nightmare. I ended up damaging the back of a few nails and it felt like a waste. Since then I’ve tried using less glue and soaking longer, which helps a bit, but it’s still not perfect.

I want something that holds through normal daily stuff but doesn’t destroy the set when I take them off. I’ve seen people mention softer glues or gel-type adhesives, but I’m not sure what actually works best for reuse.

What do you guys use if you want your press-ons to last but still come off clean enough to wear again?
