Why didn’t I pay the fee?

Nasira yung washing machine namin. So itinawag ko sa alam kong authorized service center since under warranty pa. Nag confirm naman sila na authorized service center sila. So pumunta sila sa bahay, checked the unit, and decided na mas okay kung dadalhin nila sa shop since mukhang motor yung sira.

I said okay. They took it. After a day they confirmed that it was indeed the motor. So I said okay then anong process para maipasok ko sa warranty? They adviced me not to process it under warranty kasi aabutin daw ng ilang buwan. So I asked them magkano kung hindi idadaan sa warranty at kung mabilis lang ba. They were asking for 5300 for the part and 1500 for the labor. I said no. So itinawag ko sa main office ng brand. They asked me the name of the service center and told me that the said service center is no longer an authorized service center and that they are no longer affiliated.

Dali dali kong itinawag sa service center, at pinauwi yung unit. They were asking me for 900 pesos for the storage fee, cleaning fee, gas fee, and check up fee. I said no initially. I said bakit ako magbabayad? If he had told me the truth that they were no longer an authorized service center then I wouldn't have told them to come and check the unit.

Pero I agreed. Since alam kong hindi idedeliver yung unit unless I say yes. And also I was scared baka karnehin yung unit. So dumating ang unit, tinawagan ko ang boss nila na I will not be paying a single peso. We got into an argument, I just hung up and told the delivery guys to go (pinag meryenda ko muna sila since wala naman silang kasalanan)

ABYG sa part na I lied to have the unit delivered then not pay the fee?
