Greetings my fellow transneutral friends and others interested …

I’d like to share why transneutral is a particularly important term for me. I am a trans man, and according to the umbrella: I am also considered “transmasculine.” Unfortunately, ignorant cis people hear “nb AFAB masc person,” and disregard the fact that many transmasc people are men.

It just feels like covert misgendering, bc I am not transmasc. I’m transneutral. The label transneutral tells you nothing about my AGAB or what ppl think my genitals are. And I really really resent when cis ppl focus on the agab of trans ppl, and then assume tons of incorrect info.

Transneutral (and transandrogynous) are apt terms for those who don’t want to disclose their AGAB. I’m so glad they are becoming more popularized.

And, to me, transneutral means: neither nor. And transandrogynous means: both and. So that’s why I prefer the former rather than the latter.

I’d love to hear y’all’s thoughts about why the term transneutral feels right.

Hello~ I’ve just acquired the r/transneutral subreddit. It is for anyone who does not feel like they neatly fit into either transmasc or transfem.

So anyone transitioning towards a more neutral expression, whether socially or medically, is welcome! All gender identities: agender, neutrois, nb, neos, xenos, etc.

While I am not Xenogender, bigotry towards them will be strictly prohibited.

I hope more people find others like them there. 🩶 💚
