Dheerendra Krishna Shastri in Prayagraj 🫢

Yesterday, I saw reels of famous bageshwar baba in prayagraj for his katha. It led me to think- Do we really need this?

It's 21st century and here people are still stuck with dheerendra shastri divya darbars? Is this the condition of scientific temperament?

I’m not against faith or spirituality—but why do we need such events? It clearly seems those people dancing are paid actors, people are laughing standing beside them. Do such events strengthen community and hope, or do they slowly weaken critical thinking? India talks a lot about developing scientific temper, but at the same time, we see large-scale acceptance of miracle claims without much questioning.

When will people understand its just PR game by organising such events of these babas. Is there really spirituality or only drama?

A single person, a famous director of a 5 pvt PG colleges in allahabad, are organizing these for his popularity gain to enter politics. He bring Arun Govil and other 3 actors for Kalash Yatra.

Lastly, I would love to hear different perspectives—especially from people who have attended or believe in such gatherings.
