Virtual gearing - does it work well yet ?

Is there a way to get virtual gearing to work well ?
I consider Rouvy a good implementation. But my sub is on pause for the summer. Tried MyWhoosh.
Needed to use small front cog then gear 15 is fine for flat. But shifting gears has a very long delay.

I can use Qdomyoszwift to get working gears. But MyWhoosh should fix theirs. Surprised they can’t see on QZ how it is done.

Is this really too high ?

Tried some bike fit apps, depending on where they guess my hips are, the position is either fine, or too high. I tried 5mm higher, which was fine for 50km. This position was good for 85km (furthest this year), with slight pain in thigh-bone going down from hips near the end, and slight soreness day after in knees / backside of thighs. Less shoulder pain than I used to.

Rode like 3000km outdoor last year, and 2000km indoor over winter. New cranks, and 0 offsset saddle post is new.

5mm lower (and saddle 3mm forward) felt too low. And this is a middle ground that feels good. But I know most feel-good is too high. Bike Fast Fit Easy says to lower saddle 14mm, and between 0 and 5mm forward - Depending on what part of same video it looks at. I really can't image 14mm down if 5mm feels like much.

I am about 176-177mm high,

Bikefit angles all depends on guess of hip position. I forgot to mark with high-vis tape to help tracking.
