Should I Put Part Time Child Care Provider for Niece on Resume?
Some backstory - I quit my job as as merchandise director for a jewelry company about 5 years ago with the intention of taking some time of and then looking for a similar job, but maybe in a different field.
Then, my brother's wife had a baby and I ended up watching her 2-3 days a week for the past 4 and half years (which they did pay me for). During this time my dad went through some really rough health stuff and eventually passed away so I was somewhat of a caretaker for him also.
Since my niece will be going to school full time in the fall, it will be time for me to get a job. I'm not really looking to get back into what I was doing before. Ideally I would like a part time office job.
My question is: Do I add my babysitting time like I would any other job? Or reference it in some other way?
