Dashcam

My dealer is offering me Blaupunkt Dashcam at 10K and they mentioned they only have option for this and are not moving with any other options.
Is this dashcam good? I haven’t heard the best reviews

On the other hand, i want to understand if i get an aftermarket what is the process? Is hardwiring the only option and would it affect warranty?

For those who have availed SMP, did it help you avoid extra cost and for those who didn’t, did you feel it would have made servicing cheaper?
