From the site: “We recognize the discrepancy over royalties for ‘Amphetamine,’ and it is now being corrected,” reads the statement, shared with Complex on Thursday (May 7). “We both acknowledge this oversight should have never happened. After speaking with Smino and his teams, I now understand they had no intent to collect my royalties. Nonetheless, the delay in restitution caused unnecessary frustration. However, I am happy to finally put this issue to rest, and I appreciate Smino and his team for taking action. We don’t wish any ill intent towards each other, this settles all between us, and we ask the public to allow us to move past this as we are now on cordial terms.”
