Why is there no AC in flats for rent?
I have been searching for flats for myself, and I see that there is no AC in most of the flats. Is this like some sort of cultural thing?

Hello folks!
I have recently joined a company in Bellandur. I tried looking for places for myself (25 M, unmarried), but couldn't find any place to live. Most of them were unwilling to show me the place for some reason..
I am starting from 25th of this month, and would love to find a place before that. Budget is around 20k, Please help me out.
Hello!
My boyfriend and I are in a long-distance relationship. We are visiting the city next week, and we’ll probably be staying around HSR Layout for 4 nights and 5 days. He’s coming for his final-round job interview, and coincidentally, it’s also going to be my birthday during the trip, so we planned to meet in BLR this time. I would genuinely love recommendations for good stays or hotels around HSR that are clean, safe, and actually worth the money. We’re also looking for cafés, nice dinner places, dessert spots, and any places with great ambience where we can enjoy good food and make good memories.
Neither of us knows Bengaluru very well, so if there are any hidden gems, cozy places to hang out in the evenings, fun things to do nearby, or areas around HSR that are worth exploring, please tell us. We’re okay spending a little more if a place is genuinely good and memorable.
Also, please feel free to mention places that are overhyped, not worth the traffic, or just tourist traps in disguise.
Thanks!
Cabs are expensive (~600 rupees), autos are also around 300 rupees, are there any bus services available?
So I have recently shifted to this new PG where they have separate meters for each room. Now I have used 190 kWh in the past month. The owner of the pg says it's Rs. 10 per unit charge, which means the total would be Rs. 1900. But it's a domestic meter 😭, and it's Rs. 4 per unit charge right? Are they asking me for more money? Please help me out. I'm so confused rn.
