Introducing: BEANS!

Hello!

I just picked up my very first AFTG yesterday at my first reptile expo, and I just wanted to share! These have been a dream reptile of mine for a while, and after an absolutely brutal semester of uni and landing a job in my field for the summer, I decided to celebrate with a new friend. He's a whiteout morph, which is one of my all-time favorites, and I feel like it was totally destiny to find him there because I went in with the name Beans already in mind, and it looks like he has little coffee beans on his head. :)

I would like to reassure that I am aware reptile carpet isn't great, and that his enclosure is very bare bones. I'm in-between paychecks at the moment, and wasn't fully expecting to actually find one I loved so much at the expo, so I got him set up with the basics for now until I'm able to get him some better supplies next week. :) I'm also a little nervous to put him on substrate because he's so, so little and I've never had a baby gecko of any type before, so the carpet makes it easier for me right now to see how his bowel movements are and such. But my leopard gecko has a huge bioactive setup, so when he's older, I'll do the same.

If you have any advice or fun facts to share, I'd love to hear!! I'm very receptive to new information or corrections, but mostly I just wanted to share my new friend and how excited i am to have him. What a treasure!
