Uniswap alternative for large swaps?

Hi everyone, been using Uniswap for a while now but every time I try to swap anything above $10k the price impact just kills me. Did a $14k ETH to USDC swap last week and lost around $300 to slippage alone which seems way too much for such a common pair.

Is there a better option for larger amounts or is there something I should be setting differently? Any advice appreciated!

[FOR HIRE] Taking on a few Website Projects for 5k to build my portfolio

hello, i'm a final year cs student and i've been building websites for a while now. mostly my own stuff and small projects. trying to get some actual client work now so i can build a proper portfolio and get faster at delivering.

doing them for 5k for now since i'm still building things up.

nothing too fancy. simple clean websites, around 3–5 pages, works on mobile, basic seo and i can hook up a contact form or whatsapp so people can actually reach you. good for small businesses, personal brands, portfolios, that kind of thing.

not doing ecommerce or anything with heavy backend stuff right now, just straightforward sites.

if you've already seen a site you like you can just send it and i'll build something similar, makes things easier for both of us.

usually takes a few days depending on how quickly we go back and forth on stuff.

Swap Monero via Ledger?

hi everyone, i'd like to swap BTC to XMR (Bitcoin to Monero) via my Ledger Nano X but on Ledger Live i can't see any route to XMR.

I don't want to use CEX obviously, i dont want centralized entities knowing i hold Monero, do you have a solution for it? Thanks.

Need help to swap Bitcoin

im tryint to swap BTC into other assets without a CEX, It's kinda confusing as every route I find either requires KYC, has liquidity thin enough that the rate is terrible, or involves wrapping BTC.

what are you guys using for straightforward (and non-custodial) Bitcoin swaps?

Looking for a good AI tool for training design and workforce development

I’ve been using AI tools for training development for a while now and I think the conversation around them misses the bigger issue. Content generation was never really the hard part. The harder part is structuring training properly, deciding where interactions should happen, building recall moments naturally, and organizing material in a way that actually helps teams learn faster. Most AI tools mainly generate text. The instructional design side still feels very manual. I’ve been looking into Honen because it seems more focused on workforce development and professional training workflows rather than generic AI writing. Curious if anyone here has tested it or found other tools that handle the structure side better

Best AI tools for creating corporate training and workforce development courses right now?

I work in workforce development and have been testing different AI tools for building training content for internal teams. ChatGPT is useful for brainstorming and rough outlines, but I still spend a lot of time restructuring everything into something that actually works for employee training. Claude handles longer context better, but most general AI tools still feel like content generators more than real course-building systems. I’ve been hearing more about Honen lately because it seems more focused on training workflows, onboarding, and professional learning instead of student use cases. Curious what others in L&D or corporate training are using right now.

What safety features should I look for in a new bridge crane model?

Yesterday afternoon I visited a fabrication workshop with a contractor friend because his company wants a new bridge crane before expanding warehouse operations. Honestly I thought bridge cranes mostly differed in lifting power and size but after listening to operators and engineers talk all day I realized safety features are probably the most important part of the decision. Some newer bridge crane models had overload protection systems that automatically stop lifting when the weight becomes dangerous. Some cranes included anti collision sensors and emergency shutoff controls which honestly sounded useful for busy warehouses where multiple machines move around together. A few systems even had sway control technology to reduce dangerous load movement while lifting expensive materials. One salesman keep saying modern bridge cranes are almost impossible to misuse because of advanced electronics but honestly his speech sounded too polished to fully trust. I wanted something reliable and practical not just overloaded with fancy technology. I could not trust them and I could not decide confidently.

Later we visited another crane supplier near the industrial zone because my friend wanted more realistic opinions from mechanics and crane operators instead of only listening to sales people. This place honestly felt much more useful because workers openly discussed accidents breakdowns and daily operating problems. Some operators said strong braking systems matter a lot because sudden stopping failures can become extremely dangerous during heavy lifting. Some mechanics liked cranes with load monitoring displays because operators can instantly check if the crane is working within safe limits. I remembered seeing an older bridge crane stop awkwardly during a steel lifting job years ago and workers there kept saying poor maintenance and weak safety systems caused most of the problems. That memory stayed in my head while I kept comparing different crane models. One bridge crane looked almost perfect but another worker quietly warned us about expensive electronic repairs later. That made me hesitate even more.

At night while scrolling many online marketplaces including alibaba I started reading reviews from contractors and warehouse operators about bridge crane safety features. Some reviews praised smoother controls and advanced overload systems. Some users liked emergency stop functions and anti sway technology while others complained about costly sensor repairs and delayed servicing later. Some cranes looked affordable while others looked too expensive once installation and maintenance costs were included. I honestly felt excited and confused at the same time because every company claimed their bridge crane offered the safest and most advanced design available. Now I keep wondering if premium safety technology on bridge cranes really improves daily operations enough to justify the higher costs what would you do in my place?

What safety features should I look for when buying a ripper attachment?

Yesterday afternoon I went with a contractor friend to check ripper attachments for a heavy excavation project and honestly I did not expect safety features to become such a huge topic. At first I thought a ripper was just a strong metal attachment for breaking hard ground, but once operators and mechanics started talking I realized there is way more to consider. Some ripper attachments had reinforced mounting systems that help prevent dangerous movement during tough excavation work. Some newer models included replaceable wear parts and stronger locking pins which honestly sounded useful for reducing sudden failures on-site. A few heavy duty rippers even had shock absorbing designs to reduce stress on the bulldozer or excavator during rocky ground work. One salesman keep saying modern ripper attachments are almost impossible to damage during normal use but honestly his speech sounded too polished to fully trust. I wanted something reliable and practical not just oversized and expensive. I could not trust them and I could not decide confidently.

Later we visited another machinery supplier near the industrial zone because my friend wanted more realistic opinions from operators and mechanics instead of only listening to sales people. This place honestly felt much more useful because workers openly discussed accidents and equipment failures they had seen before. Some operators said strong locking systems matter a lot because loose attachments can become extremely dangerous during excavation work. Some mechanics liked rippers with replaceable teeth because damaged tips are easier and safer to repair before bigger failures happen. I remembered seeing an excavator struggle through rocky ground years ago and the operator there kept saying proper attachment stability mattered way more than raw ripping power alone. That memory stayed in my head while I kept checking different models. One ripper attachment looked almost perfect but another worker quietly warned us about expensive replacement parts later. That made me hesitate even more.

At night while scrolling many online marketplaces including alibaba I started reading reviews from contractors and equipment operators about ripper attachment safety features. Some reviews praised stronger steel construction and secure mounting systems. Some users liked smoother operation and better durability while others complained about cracked teeth and costly repairs later. Some attachments looked affordable while others looked too expensve once transport and servicing were included. I honestly felt excited and confused at the same time because every company claimed their ripper attachment offered the safest and toughest design available. Now I keep wondering if premium safety features on ripper attachments really make enough difference during hard excavation projects what would you do in my place?

it’s the control that makes it addictive honestly

If I had to explain it, I think the biggest difference is control.

When you’re building the fantasy yourself, you’re constantly deciding what happens next.

That makes it way more engaging compared to just reading something start to finish.

Lowkey addictive once you get into it.

I’ve been pretty consistent with supplements for a while now, and I do think they help in certain ways, but it always feels like the impact is somewhat limited.

Like they support things in the background, but don’t really create a noticeable shift on their own.

I’m starting to wonder if that’s just how they’re meant to work, or if it’s a sign that I should be looking at something more targeted instead of trying to stack small improvements.

Has anyone else reached that point where you felt like you needed to move beyond just supplements?
