I've been longing for a D&D group for a few years now, most of my RL friends can't maintain a schedule that allows them to play between work, kids, etc. Decided to shift my focus and look for a game online, preferably one that is active during the day for me. I'm in the Central US and realize this likely means I may be better fit for a game that lands in the evening somewhere in Europe.

I have a decent amount of experience as both a player and a DM, but I'm a bit on the rusty side. A group that has some patience as I fumble through in the beginning would be nice. I love a DM that follows the rules but isn't afraid to rule of cool sometimes. I enjoy the thrill of community story building but have a lot of fun with combat scenarios too. I'd say I'm a bit middle of the road in terms of that preference. I might lean a bit more RP but I think a great campaign has a mix of both. Maybe that's obvious, but like I said I'm rusty and I've never done an LFG post before.

Did I do this right? /anxiety
