Self Service/"Unattended" booth

Hello! I recently purchased a (MOJO?) Photobooth set up off of facebook. I've got it functioning and printing physical strips using Darkroom (the software they already had installed) on the computer they included in the set up. The only issue is I want this booth to be a permanent fixture in my tattoo shop and basically be self service for clients to use. We plan on building a booth around it (like the one you would see in a mall/bar). The previous owners only used this booth for pop up events, where they had someone maintaining the booth. Basically is there a way for our clients to activate/trigger the photobooth countdown themselves without access to the laptop/software itself? Hopefully this makes sense (such as a button or switch facing the client inside the booth). Can send photos of my set up if needed, would also be open to switching to a different software if something else would be better suited for our needs!

Hello friends! I own a tattoo shop and am looking to have a permanent photobooth installed in my shop. I'm not trying to invest TOO much money as l'm not necessarily planning on profiting off of this as it would be inside our shop as a fun thing for clients to take photos during their visit. I emailed with Chalkak as I thought purchasing a pre built photobooth would be easiest to but unfortunately the cheapest option with them (including shipping) is 8k+. Which is WAY more than I'm looking to spend.

After doing some research in this sub I think I can DIY something that works for us. But I just want to make sure I'm purchasing the right things and need general advice on what system & equipment would best fit our needs.

Basically all I want is for the the photobooth to be enclosed (which I'm willing to build a frame or something for) and for it to print physical strips. Essentially building a DIY version of a photobooth you'd use at the mall or something. I'm not too picky about amazing, photo quality, portability or making this anything super fancy! Just need something simple enough for me to build and maintain. I've been looking on facebook marketplace as I figured finding someone selling all the equipment together would be easiest but I'm definitely opening to purchasing everything separately!
